发明名称 THERMAL HEAD SUPPORTING MECHANISM
摘要 PURPOSE:To achieve uniform pressing without need for adjustment, by oscillatably supporting a thermal head by a bearing on a rotatable shaft parallel to a platen roller, through a shaft pin, and connecting both end parts of the rotatable shaft and the thermal head to each other by leaf springs. CONSTITUTION:A rotatable shaft 11 having a bearing 19 at the center thereof is disposed in parallel to a platen roller 2, and a thermal head 1 is oscillatably supported by a shaft pin 20 supported on the bearing 19: both end parts of the shaft 11 and the head 1 are connected to each other by leaf springs 21, 21'. When the shaft 11 is turned counterclockwise by a predetermined amount by a link bar 24, the thermal head 1 is pressed against the platen roller 2 through the shaft pin 20, whereby uniform pressing free of partialized contact is ensured. The leaf springs 21, 21' connected at the end parts and having a relatively high stiffness promotes the partialized contact preventive effect, prevents the thermal head 1 from vibrating, and maintains the head 1 in a proper pose as separated from the platen roller 2. Thus, uniform pressing of the thermal head against the platen roller can be achieved without need for adjustments.
