PURPOSE:To simplify a structure, by attaching a first rotary member to an intermediary shaft via a one-way clutch, while attaching a second rotary member thereto, and installing a clutch mechanism to the rotary member at the engine output shaft side. CONSTITUTION:V-pulleys 6 and 8 are tightly installed in a crankshaft 4, a V-pulley 16 is attached to an intermediary shaft 12 via a one-way clutch 20, and a V-pulley 22 is directly installed there. Two pulleys 22 and 26 are solidly rotated by an electromagnetic clutch 28. Therefore, a speed ratio can be varied by stages with a simple structure.
