The invention comprises compounds of the formula wherein R represents a halogen atom or a nitro, alkyl C 1-4 or alkoxy C 1-4 radical, n is 0, 1 or 2 and the -N = CCl 2 group is not in the orthoposition to the SCl group. They are prepared by reacting a compound of the formula wherein R and n are as defined above and neither formylamine radical is in the orthoposition to the disulphide bridge, with at least the stoichiometric quantity of chlorine and/or sulphuryl chloride at a temperature in the range 0-80‹ C. in the presence of thionyl chloride as a solvent. |
