<p>PURPOSE:To always stably run a tape by resetting the output signal of a sample hold part under no detection of any synchronization signal reproduction to the level signal of a tracking error signal at the time of just on-tracking and holding it out accordingly. CONSTITUTION:Reproducing signals from two heads are sent via an amplifier 7 to an LPF 8 where pilot signals are extracted and inputted to the sample hold part 13 via an envelope detector circuit 9. On the other hand, the reproducing signals from the amplifier 7 are turned into binarysation by a comparator 18 and then sent to be inputted to a detection processing circuit 19. When only the reproduction of synchronization signal is detected, a counter part 23 inputs a discrete value signal to a reset signal generator part 24 by a signal SPb from the processing part 19. In case of the receiving discrete value by the generator part 4 being zero, i.e. no detection of the synchronizing signal reproduction, the part 24 sends a reset signal R to a sample hold circuit 12 until being inputted of the next load signal L. The circuit 12 holds its output with an error signal at the time of on-track to make the tape run quite stably.</p> |
