URINE SENSING, COLLECTING AND STORAGE DEVICE

A device (10) for detecting the presence of urine at the genital region of an individual and removing and storing the urine. The device (10) includes an external urine collecting vessel (78) which is supported at the genital region to contain the urine within the vessel. Liquid sensors (92) are contained within the vessel for detecting the presence of urine and automatically activating a pump (12) to draw the urine through a tubing (96) to a temporary storage chamber (24). A liquid impermeable liner (89) is placed within the collecting vessel (78) for improved hygiene and for directing the urine away from the individual.
