Membrane cushion for water softening by reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, hyperfiltration or gas permeation, consists of inner spacer sheets (21,22) with a separator foil (3) between them, and outer membrane foils (11,12). At least the edges of all membrane cushion layers consist of plastic material with melting points close to each other and all edges are firmly welded together. The spacers are made of a plastic mat or woven tissue. |
