PURPOSE:To quickly and with high accuracy obtain integral information of the next time, and to increase a speed extending from a start of a distance measurement to an arrival to a focused point without depending on the luminance of an object to be photographed, by inhibiting a transfer of an integral charge to a charge accumulating part in the course of transfer and arithmetic operation processings of a charge signal. CONSTITUTION:When a transfer of an integral charge, and an arithmetic operation based on said transfer are ended, a flag (m) from a CPV23 is inverted to L, and at the time of fall of an integral clear pulse ICG2 from an integral clear pulse generating circuit 44 responding to a shift pulse generating circuit 43, an AND gate 53 is set through an RS type FF52 of a shift pulse control circuit 51. In accordance with a deciding signal at the time of arrival of a prescribed integral value from an integral end deciding circuit 46, a shift pulse phiT from the circuit 43 is outputted through the gate 53, and a transfer inhibition of an integral charge inhibited in the course of charge transfer and arithmetic operation processings is released. Accordingly, in the course of this inhibition, the next integral operation is executed without hindering the arithmetic operation until the previous arithmetic operation is unded, the next integral information is obtained quickly and with high accuracy, and without depending on the luminance of an object to be photographed, a detection speed extending from a start of a distance measurement to an arrival to focusing is increased. |
