PURPOSE:To obtain an inductor for a source line filter with quite excellent frequency characteristics by introducing an amorphous alloy thin strip, on one or both sides of which grooves are formed, as a core material. CONSTITUTION:Grooves, whose longer axes are perpendicular to the logitudinal direction of an amorphous thin strip, are formed on one or both sides of the amorphous thin strip and a core is formed by winding such amorphous alloy thin strip. For instance, a choke-coil is composed by forming grooved parts 4 on the amorphous thin strip 3 and applying a winding 5. With this constitution, as a magnetic wall is fixed at the grooved part, although permeability in a low frequency range is reduced, deterioration of a permeability in a high frequency range is small and as a result, the core with excellent frequency characteristics of permeability can be obtained. |
