A plasma reactor section as described in P1764714.2 included within a conventional fission reactor or in fusion reactor is further improved by totally enclosing magnetic lines of force from the coils. They occupy a specific volume, which they define, on their emergence from the coil(s) and return either to that same volume or to a second defined volume into which the plasma then flows from the first volume. A modular design is used which reduces installation cost and the system provides overall increases in efficiency, i.e. economy, of reactor operation. |
