PURPOSE:To aim at continuing a teaching process, by operating compensating means to automatically return a grindstone to a desired polishing pass along an erroneous path and to erase erroneous path data from a memory means in order to aim at continuing a teaching process even though the grindstone is moved along the erroneous path. CONSTITUTION:If a grindstone 9 is moved along an erroneous path S during teaching, when a compensating switch is turned on at the point A, a signal from the switch is delivered to a CPU so that data stored in RAM are read out in the order reverse to the order of data having been stored in the RAM during input, and therefore a reverse rotation signal is delivered to a motor. With this arrangement, the grindstone is automatically returned to a desired polishing path T from the point A along the erroneous path S. Further, when the grindstone 9 reaches the point B on the polishing path T so that the compensating switch is released, the CPU specifies data corresponding to the return path from the point A to the point B as erroneous path data, and are erased from the RAM. Accordingly, the grindstone 9 may smoothly carry out the remaining teaching process from the point B. |
