PURPOSE:To prevent fugacity of water as often as happened in the handling of without any influence to the appearance and physical properties of the water- swollen product, by making a granular composition by a highly water-absorbing resin binder having a specified particle diameter. CONSTITUTION:The title product is a highly water-absorbing resin composition formed into granules using a highly water-absorbing resin binder having a primary particle diameter <=100mu. The binder must be soluble in organic solvents, which includes, e.g., polyethylene glycol, polyethylene oxide, methylcellulose and polyvinylpyrrolidone, preferably polyethylene glycol having a mean MW of 1,000-6,000. The highly water-absorbing resin used may be any known product.
