PURPOSE:To wind a yarn under constant tension by constituting the system wherein the tension of a yarn released from a yarn feed passage is detected, and the tension of the yarn due to a tenser is changed depending upon the result of tension detection, thereby winding the yarn about a yarn take up package. CONSTITUTION:If a signal of yarn tension rise has been outputted from a yarn voltage sensor 7 due to some causes, an instruction for reducing a power supply to an electromagnetic coil 20 is outputted from a control circuit 40 to an oscillator 21, corresponding to an increment in said tension and the tensioning of a yarn Y at a tenser 6 is thereby weakened. On the contrary, if a signal for reducing yarn tension has been outputted from a yarn pressure sensitive sensor 7, an instruction for increasing a power supply to the electromagnetic coil 20 is outputted, corresponding to a decrease in tension, and the tensioning of the yarn Y at the tenser 6 is thereby intensified. As a result, the tension of the yarn Y under winding becomes free from fluctuation.
