Next, the controller 40 reads out a call sound volume level designation table 52, and sets a call sound volume by indexing a bit of call sound volume level designation information from the number of the telephone sets 11 read out from the managing table 51. In such way, it is possible to set the sound volume level of each push-button telephone set at a low level even when, for example, a large number of push-button telephone sets ring simultaneously in the office. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the noise from being generated.
