PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition capable of giving molded products of improved surface properties without impairing processability and mechanical properties, by blending specified proportion of each specific thermoplastic resin and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer saponified product with both ash and alkali metal contents significantly reduced. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by blending (A) a thermoplastic resin with a melting point 160-270 deg.C with its main chain constituted of both carbon and oxygen atoms (e.g., polycarbonate, polyethylene terephthalate) and (B) an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer saponified product with an ethylene content 20-60mol%, the saponification degree of the vinyl acetate domain >=95%, ash content <=20(pref. <=10)ppm and alkali metal content <=5(pref. <=3)ppm in the weight ratio A/B=99/1-80/20 (pref., 95/5-85/15).
