PURPOSE:To obtain the titled nontoxic or low toxic composition, highly stable to light and heat, by incorporating a chlorine-contg. resin with each specific organic acid metal salt, phosphorus-contg. metal salt and beta-diketone compound. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating 100pts.wt. of a chlorine-contg. resin with (A) 0.01-10(pref., 0.1-3)pts.wt. of a metal salt of organic monocarboxylic acid or alkylphenol, (B) 0.01-5(pref., 0.1-3)pts.wt. of a phosphorus-contg. metal salt of formula I (R1-R4 are each alkyl, aryl, etc.; M is divalent metal), and (C) 0.01-1pt.wt. of a beta-diketone compound of formula II (R1 and R2 are each H, hydroxyl, halogen, alkyl, etc.; R3 is alkyl, alkenyl, etc.; R4 is H, alkyl, etc.) (e.g., benzoyl-p- chlorobenzoylmethane). Furthermore, incorporation of an organic phosphite compound and/or epoxy compound in this composition will give outstanding synergetic effect.
