<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the entrance of splashed muddy water and noise into a drain tube by fitting a disk-like valve made of rubber for covering an opening section being closely brought into contact with the opening edge to the locking protrusion of the edge section of the opening of a grommet exposed outside of a car for locking the drain tube to a car body and by holding it. CONSTITUTION:A rubber cylindrical drain grommet 1 is fitted at the upper end section 4 to the drain tube 2 extended from a car roof and others and at the lower end section that is a thick section 5 to the peripheral edge of the installation hole of a car body panel 3. At the lower section of the thick section 5 the opening edge section 8 exposed to the outside of a car is formed, and fitting protrusions 9 are formed at two places separatedly at an angle of 180 deg. from each other and further downward for locking a disk-like valve made of rubber. The water from the tube 2 can be drained by pressedly opening the valve body 10 from the portion separated from the fitting protrusions 9 at an angle of 90 deg.. Since the valve body 10 closes an opening section 7 usually, the entrance of splashed muddy water and noise can be prevented.</p> |
