PURPOSE:To lower the position of a seat cushion for preventing a seat from crampedness by mounting a drive motor on the back of a seat pack and connecting it to a movable mechanism for moving a seat cushion back and forth through a connecting member. CONSTITUTION:A drive motor 18 is secured fixedly to a seat back frame 2c. The output shaft of the motor 18 is connected to an upper bevel gear of a gear box 11 through a flexible torque cable 19 bent along the back of seat back 2b and the lower surface of a seat cushion 2a. Thus, a drive force of the motor 18 is transmitted to an upper bevel gear of the gear box 11 through a torque cable 19 to rotate the lower bevel gear and a worm of the gear box 11 through a connecting shaft so that a worm wheel is rotated and the seat cushion 2a together with an upper rail 8 is slid back and forth by a screw thread. |
