Vehicle air-conditioning equipment which can be switched over between air-conditioning and heating, with a refrigeration circuit comprising a compressor, a condenser, an expander and an evaporator, and with a four-way distributor inserted between the compressor, on the one hand, and the evaporator and the condenser on the other hand, in order to reverse the direction of flow of the refrigerant liquid. Two pipes are mounted in parallel between the condenser 3 and the evaporator 5, one of which pipes contains the expander 4 and a non-return valve 7 opening towards the evaporator 5, and the other of which contains a non-return valve 10, opening towards the condenser, and members which during heating direct refrigerant liquid from the evaporator towards the condenser. These members are produced so that a minimal quantity of refrigerant fluid passes from the evaporator 5 to the condenser 3. <IMAGE>
