PURPOSE:To make the control of brake fluid pressure at the time of resupply proper according to the frictional coefficient of a road surface by, at the time of four-wheel drive, changing the recovery time length of the wheel speed of a liquid pressure piping system on one side so as to increase or decrease a predetermined quantity, depending on the control stage of the control liquid pressure of the wheel of a liquid pressure piping system on the other side being in process of pressurization or depressurization, and conducting a control. CONSTITUTION:At the time of four-wheel drive, the time length used for the control of a liquid pressure piping system on one side, for example, a cross piping A system is made to change so as to increase or decrease a predetermined quantity alone, depending on the control stage of the brake liquid pressure of a car wheel belonging to the cross piping B system of a liquid pressure piping system on the other side being in process of pressurization or depressurization. On account of this, the effect of an internal circulation torque which occurs because of the necessity of the sums of respective revolution numbers of right left front wheels and rear wheels being equal at a time of four-wheel drive, is removed and the judgement of a balance between brake force during travel and the frictional coefficient of a road surface is done accurately, and the control of brake liquid pressure at a time of resupply of brake liquid pressure can be done properly according to the frictional coefficient of the read surface.
