TIRE TREAD RUBBER COMPOSITION AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To obtain a tire tread rubber composition having high resiliency and low fuel consumption and suited for an all-season pneumatic tire. CONSTITUTION:This tire tread rubber composition contains 20-80pts.wt. natural and/or polyisoprene rubber (a), 20-80pts.wt. styrene/butadiene copolymer rubber (b) having a combined styrene content of 10-30wt% and a 1,2-vinyl bond content in the butadiene part of 30-80%, with the proviso that said styrene/ butadiene copolymer rubber contains an atomic group of formula II on molecular terminals or in the molecular chain, and a rubber chemical (c) of formula I (wherein n is 3-10).
