<p>The container has an inner and outer shell, with a layer of dense material for gamma-ray ray protection between them and in addition a layer of neutron absorbent material hydrogen or boron enriched, which is provided at least in part with cooling fins or rods. The neutron absorber may be on the outer face of the inner shell or the inner face of the outer shell and a variety of geometrical layouts of the radiators are proposed. A mixture of mortar or cement with an aq. binder. eg. alumina clay, may be placed between the gamma-shield and the outer wall.</p> |
