A wear-resistant liner for a gyratory crusher comprises a crushing member 12, Fig. 2, having an inner conical surface 16 and made of material having a Brinell hardness number of at least 400 with means 13, for mounting it in the crusher, made from a tough fractureresistant material such as mild steel. The mounting means 13 comprises spaced hooks or lugs 14 interconnected by tie rods (24) Fig. 1 (not shown) embedded in the liner. Each hook has spaced T-shaped feet 22. Reinforcing rings 30 may be embedded in the liner, which is made of perlitic, carbidic, white cast-iron or martensitic, carbidic chromenickel-alloyed cast-iron. In a further embodiment a liner 34, Fig. 5, has a mounting flange 54 and mounting means 38 including an annular jacket 46 secured to a crushing member 32 by T-shaped feet 56. The jacket may be continuous or formed of arcuate segments. |
