PURPOSE:To dry and burn garbage and to easily treat garbage by providing both a heating means by microwave and a heat release means of silicon carbide. CONSTITUTION:When garbage A is introduced onto a grate 6, a cover 4 of an introduction port is closed and an electric power source is turned on, microwave generated from a microwave generator 7 is passed through a waveguide 8 and then passed through the heating element 18 of silicon carbide and collides against a filter 20 or the like and reflected. When garbage A is dried with the reflected microwave and water content is removed, heating elements 10, 10a of silicon carbide of the lower part are heated by absorbing microwave and garbage A is burned. In the case when exhaust gas is passed through a secondary combustion chamber 19, it is purified by direct combustion and furthermore purified by a catalytic combustion equipment 22, and discharged to the outside through an exhaust outlet 24. Thereby the blocking of a sewer can be prevented and also atmospheric pollution can be avoided.
