PURPOSE:To enable easy feeling of the occurrence of abnormality, by a method wherein, during detection of abnormality of a hydraulic circuit for running or loading, having a hydraulic pump driven by an engine, a throttle valve opening based on a control amount of an accel control means is reduced to a throttle opening being heretofore available. CONSTITUTION:When execution is made by means of a skid steer loader, an oil temperature switch 7, serving as a hydraulic circuit abnormality detecting means, and a hydraulic switch 8 are mounted, in order, down a line from a hydraulic pump for circulation by which to feed working oil in an oil tank to a hydraulic pump for running. During detection of abnormality that the temperature of working oil in a hydraulic circuit is increased to a given value or more and the pressure of working oil, flowing in a hydraulic pump 3 for running, is reduced to a given value or less due to choking of a filter in a hydraulic circuit, a throttle valve opening regulating means 16 is controlled by means of a controller 13 so that a throttle valve opening responding to a control amount of an accel lever 14 is decreased over a throttle valve opening being heretofore available. This constitution enables an driver to feel abnormality.
