PURPOSE:To prevent the adhesion of oil to the rear wall of an inner casing and to self-purify an oil content adhered to a side wall part, by a method wherein an inner plate part on which a self-purifying layer is formed is mounted in a superposed manner to the inner side wall surface of an inner casing, and the rear edge of a cooking tray is situated in a level higher than that of the other edge part. CONSTITUTION:A cooker is provided with an inner casing 32 wherein an opening is formed at its front and heaters 34a and 34b are mounted to form a cooking chamber 30, while a door 37 having an opening, and a grill 39, are moved in and out in conjunction with the door 37. In the cooker, a cooking tray 40, which has an edge part around the whole periphery and a rear edge 40a erected further upward than the other edge, is placed on the grill 39. An inner plate member 41 is superposed and fixedly mounted to right and left side walls 31 by means of its claw part in a manner that a self-purifying layer is faced inside. As the selfpurifying layer, a substance, where a catalyst and diluent are added to, for example, phosphate inorganic heat resistant paint serving as base paint, is used.
