OPTICALLY ACTIVE TETRAHYDRO-2-FURANONE DERIVATIVE AS MICROBICIDE

The (aS,1'R) enantiomer and the (aR,1'S)(aS,1'R) pair of enantiomers and the (aR,1'R)(aS,1'R) diastereomer of the compound of the formula are potent plant microbicides. They can be obtained partly from the racemate by physicochemical separation methods and partly by targeted chemical synthesis.
