PURPOSE:To develop normal function by accurately inspecting the fixed state of a sensor case to a body to be detected, by providing piezoelectric elements in the sensor case different from the body to be detected in vibration communicability so that one of them is a vibration receiving one and the other is a vibration acting one. CONSTITUTION:The outer bottom surface of a sensor case 10 is adhered to the plate surface of window glass G by an adhesive E. This adhesive state is inspected by a method wherein an acting piezoelectric element 12 is driven to generate the vibration of the energy corresponding to the breakage of the glass and a receiving pizoelectric element 11 is subjected to strain movement by the propagation of said vibration and said strain movement is taken out as an impedance signal. According to whether the adhesive fixing of the case 10 is normal or abnormal, the vibration energy of the element 12 propagates to the element 11 through the glass G or the case itself being a medium. When the case 10 is formed of a synthetic resin different from the glass G in vibration communicability and difference is generated in the vibration wave form obtained from the element 11, the vibration medium of the element 12 is cleared and the adhesive state of the case 10 can be inspected.
