PURPOSE:To interlock a governor action smoothly to a fuel injection pump, by installing a play absorbing spring stretching between an interlocking rod, operating by actuation of a governor via a floating arm, and a rack pin. CONSTITUTION:An interlocking rod 3 operating by action of a governor 1 via a floating arm 2 is connected to a rack pin 5 of a control rack 4 controlling a fuel injection pump. A play absorbing spring 6 is installed stretchingly between the interlocking rod 3 and the rack pin 5 through the spring holding part (a) installed in and around the rack pin 5. Thus, the governor action can be interlocked with the fuel injection pump smoothly and speedily.
