PURPOSE:To realize the effective test of an information processor just by prepar ing a small input data area on a main memory, by transferring only the neces sary pat cut of those data transferred from an information processor. CONSTITUTION:A command is executed by software to transfer data to a main memory 20 from an information processor 40. Thus the data are transferred to an input/output control devices 30 from the processor 40 and stored temporarily in an input data memory mechanism 300 of the device 30. A data transfer mechanism 200 decodes the contents of the control data on the data transfer quantity stored in a memory area 210 for data group on data transfer quantity and reads out the data stored in the mechanism 300 to send the minimum and necessary data part to the memory 20 according to the decoding result. Thus it is possible to perform a test to the processor 40 just by preparing a data area smaller than the maximum length of the data transferred from the processor 40. |
