<p>PURPOSE:To detect the clogging of a back pressure takeoff tube, by installing a back pressure sensor in a particulate collecting filter and, when an engine speed variation is more than the specified value, warning abnormality at the time of a back pressure variation being less than the specified value. CONSTITUTION:A particulate collecting filter 5 and a particulate ignition device 6 are installed in an exhaust passage 4, while a back pressure sensor 8 is connected to the upstream side of the filter 5 via a back pressure takeoff tube 7. And, when the back pressure variation detected by a back pressure variation detecting device 101 at the time of the engine speed variation detected by an engine speed variation detecting device 100 being more than the specified value, it is so judged that the back pressure takeoff tube 7 is clogging, and a warning lamp 34 is lighted. With this constitution, any malfunction of the ignition device based on misdetection of back pressure in the back pressure sensor is preventable.</p> |
