PURPOSE:To attain a stable timing extraction not affected by the line characteristic by providing a filter equalizing the line characteristic to the pre-stage of a timing extraction circuit. CONSTITUTION:A filter 7 consists of a transversal filter 10, a filter 20 and a phase adjusting device 30 and is a filter having an inverted characteristic to that of a communication line. Thus, the loss at the upper/lower Nyquist frequencies at the output side of this filter is the same as the loss to the carrier frequency and a flat characteristic is obtained. The filter as above is provided to the pre-stage of the timing extraction circuit 6 to make the timing extraction circuit 6 to be operated stably. |
