<p>PURPOSE:To increase withstand voltage between the respective external leads, by forming an uneven part on the boundary surface between the respective inner and outer sealing resins in contact with the respective external leeds, and making the distance along the surface between both leads long. CONSTITUTION:The title photocoupler comprises a light emitting element 1 and a light receiving element 2. An inner and an outer sealing resins in contact with the part between the respective external leads of the device are formed. The former is an inner transparent epoxy resin 6, and the latter is an outer light shielding epoxy resin 7. An uneven part 8 is formed on the boundary surface between the resin 6 and the resin 7. The uneven part 8 formed on the boundary surface between the respective inner and outer resins 6 and 7 in contact with the respective external lead parts 3 makes the distance along the surface between the inner and the outer sealing resins 6 and 7 long. Consequently, it acts so as to prevent the water content from permeating through the uneven part 8, and withstand voltage between the external leads 3 can be increased, thereby.</p> |
