PURPOSE:To prevent a spool from causing sudden operation by detecting the current position of an electromagnetic valve, inputting output signals from detectors into a programmable controller and energizing other one of solenoids not changing the current position of the spool. CONSTITUTION:Position detectors 13 and 14 are provided on both ends of an electromagnetic valve 1 to detect the current position of a spool. Output signals from the position detectors 13 and 14 are inputted into a programmable controller 12 to energize either one of solenoids 2 and 3 that does not change the current position of the spool of the electromagnetic valve 1. The spool of the electromagnetic valve 1 can be locked in the current position by this method at the start of the programmable controller 12 so the sudden operation of the spool can be prevented without failure.
