Concentrated aqueous compositions containing (a) a hydroxy- or amino-alkanephosphonic acid (b) a polyaminocarboxylic acid (c) glucoheptonic acid and optionally (d) magnesium chloride, -sulfate and/or -acetate are eminently suitable as stabilizing additives for peroxide-containing alkaline liquors which are employed in the bleach of cellulosic fibrous material. |
