In order to design the folding cover (9) which is hinged by means of rotating joints (13, 18) on a central disc (8) and is inserted into a covering frame (1), for the purpose of simplified operation of the installation apparatus in an opening-angle range of less than 90@ until a stable folded-closed position (A) is reached in a self-closing manner and in an opening-angle range which is greater than 90@ before a folded-out position (D), which is likewise stable, is reached in a self-opening manner, it is provided that a spiral spring (19), which is suspended on one side on the folding cover (9) and on the other side on the covering frame (1), has a spring limb (36), which produces no spring force, between a first spring eye (33) and a spring element (35) which does produce spring force, the spring element (35) remaining physically within the folding cover (9) both in the folded-closed position (B) and in the folded-out position (A), and the spring limb (36) being supported on a rotating edge (20) in the folded-out position (B). <IMAGE>
