PURPOSE:To obtain a timepiece of simplified structure which is superior in design without using any external operation part having a movable member by controlling a current flowing through a voice recognizing circuit by a piezoelectric element as an input member. CONSTITUTION:A microphone 3 inputs and converts a voice into an electric signal and a voice recognizing circuit 8 recognizes a signal outputted by the microphone 3. A signal converting circuit 6 converts the output signal of the piezoelectric element 4 as the input member to a proper form. When the piezoelectric element 4 as the input member is struck with a finger, the piezoelectric element 4 generates an electric signal. The signal converting circuit 6 converts the output signal of the piezoelectric element 4 to the form which enables a power circuit 7 to be controlled. When a signal is received from the signal converting circuit 6 the power circuit 7 recognizes the output signal of the microphone 3 and further outputs a signal corresponding to a voice to control a timer circuit 9, thereby correcting the time. |
