PURPOSE:To enable easy sepn. of anion in a thick alkaline soln. and automatic analysis thereof by providing exchange resin columns, electrical conductivity sensor, pH sensor, control part, etc., to the titled instrument. CONSTITUTION:This instrument is provided with the H type cation exchange resin columns 21, 22 which exchange Na<+> in a sample liquid to H<+>, the electrical conductivity sensor 3 which detects the saturation condition of the ion exchange capacity of the columns 21, 22, the pH sensor 4 which detects the regeneration condition thereof, the control part 7 having 6-way valves 51, 52 and 2-flow passage selector valve 6, etc., in the preceding stage of an ion chromatograph 1. The columns 21, 22 are connected via the valves 51, 52 to a sample liquid tank 8 and the sensor 3 and is connected via the valve 6 to a regenerating liquid tank 9 or water tank 10 and the sensor 4. The sensor 3 is connected to a sampling valve 11 of the chromatograph 1. The columns 21, 22 are thereby alternately used and regenerated and the continuous and automatic analysis of the anion with high accuracy is permitted. |
