摘要 An improved process is described for the production of pore-containing mouldings, in particular membranes, from polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). To this end, a single-phase liquid mixture of PVDF and one or more mixture components is forced through a nozzle into a cooling device. Cooling of the mixture is accompanied first by separation into two liquid phases, and then by solidification. The cooling device contains a cooling liquid whose mean velocity in the device is significantly lower than the velocity at which the PVDF mixture emerges from the nozzle. The liquid level is kept constant at the PVDF mixture inlet and outlet. The PVDF mixture passes through the device from top to bottom, at least until the point at which solidification begins, and only then is it diverted in order to pass through a second zone from bottom to top. The process steps enable the mechanical load on the PVDF mixture to be kept very low until it starts to solidify. This enables even relatively low-viscosity mixtures to be processed. The pore-containing PVDF mouldings are suitable for microfiltration, in particular even of chemically aggressive media, and for transmembrane distillation.
