PURPOSE:To maintain high performance for a long period even in high-temp. and high humidity atmosphere by sticking quartz plates and color correction glass by a transparent adhesive agent. CONSTITUTION:The filter is made into the structure in which the color correction glass 2 is sandwiched by the plural quartz plates 1, 2, 1. The joint surfaces thereof are adhered by a photosetting epoxy resin 3. The photosetting epoxy resin is the compsn. contg. always an org. compd. contg. an epoxy group in the molecule as one component and photopolymn. initiator to initiate the polymn. of the epoxy group by generating ions when irradiated with light as the other one component. A thickener, diluent, silane coupling agent, etc., may be added thereto within the range where the ray transmissivity does not decrease. The quartz optical filter obtd. in such a manner can maintain the high performance for a long period even in the high-temp. and high-humidity environment.
