PURPOSE:To utilize usefully and efficiently data capacity by periodically checking the contents of a label set up and described in a temporary file and automatically deleting data elapsed the permitted storing days or time. CONSTITUTION:When a file 1 is temporary, the titled system reads out the contents of a column 3c describing days necessary for storage on the basis of the current date to check whether the days required for storage have elapsed or not while observing the current date (access time). When the days required for storage have elapsed, the file 1 is immediately deleted and ended, but when the date does not elapsed yet, the contents of a description column 3d for the maximum unused period and a description area 3e for the latest using date are read out and whether the current date exceeds the maximum unusing period or not is checked on the basis of the latest using date. When the date does not elapsed yet, the file 1 is stored as it is, but the date has elapsed, the file 1 is deleted.
