<p>PURPOSE:To simultaneously conduct dust collection and deodorization by constituting a dust collecting pat with discharge electrodes and conducive electrodes consisting of adsorption agent, and impressing high voltage between the discharge electrodes and the adsorption agent. CONSTITUTION:The air cleaner 4 consists of the discharge electrodes 1; plates (electrodes) 2 made of metallic or electric conductive material and activated carbon 3. 1.5-5kv high voltages of different polarity are impressed from high voltage electrodes to the discharge electrodes 1 and the plates 2. The air containing dust and odor is sucked from a suction opening A by a discharge fan 6 and is changed to a clean air, which is discharged from a discharge port B. That is, the dust and odorous component in the air are electrified with a discharge electrode and attracted to the adsorption agent with high voltage of reversed polarity of the electrode 1. Consequently, the dust collection and the deodorization are simultaneously conducted.</p> |
