<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the titled container and packaging material having excellent shrinkage resistance with time and improved impact resistance of bottom part, having a mouth part, a side wall and a bottom rant, wherein the bottom part containing a catalytic residue consists of a thermoplastic polyester such as ethylene terephthalate unit having specific thermal crystallization ratio. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic polyester (e.g. polyethylene terephthalate, etc.) which contains <=1,000ppm calculated as metal of catalytic residue and consists essentially of ethylene terephthalate unit is molded in a molten state by using an injection mold to give a container made of a polyester which has a mouth part, a wide wall part and a bottom part wherein the bottom part of the container comprises a thermoplastic polyester having <=90% thermal crystallization ratio (V) defined as the formula 100X(QDC-QAC)/QDC when exotherm of temperature rise crystallization is QAC and exotherm of temperature fall crystallization is QAC.</p> |
