摘要 NEW MATERIAL:1,12-Bis(4-aminophenyl)-1,3,5,7,9,11-dodecahexaene shown by formula I. USE:An intermediate for bisazo compounds suitable as an organic photoconductive material useful as a practical, high-sensitive electrophotographic sensitized material not only for high-speed copying machine but also for laser printer, especially for lamination type sensitized material. PREPARATION:A novel substance shown by formula II is reacted to give a compound shown by formula I. The compound is diazotized, the prepared com pound shown by formula III (X is anionic functional group) is coupled with a coupler to give a compound shown by formula IV (Ar is coupler residue) useful as an organic photoconductor. The novel substance shown by formula II is obtained by condensing 4-nitrocinnamyltriphenylphosphonium bromide with 2,4-hexadiene-1,6-dial in the presence of a basic catalyst.
