PURPOSE:To increase/decrease number of channels simply by adding a distribution/combination circuit to a microwave section of a radio equipment where a modulator/demodulator section and a microwave amplifier section are provided separately. CONSTITUTION:A transmission frequency of a required high frequency RF is obtained by applying plural stages of frequency conversion, and a combiner/ distributer H is provided to an input/output section of the RF stage of a radio transmitter-receiver receiving the RF and three kinds (#1, #2, #n) of IF sections are connected to the RF section. Moreover, an intermediate frequency oscillator IFOSC of the separate constitution from that of the RF stage is used as a variable frequency oscillator VFOS. Thus, if a line fault takes place, the transmission/reception frequency is revised simply by varying the frequency of the intermediate frequency oscillator VFOS of the IF section.
