PURPOSE:To efficiently execute a stable welding by a simple mechanism, by bringing simultaneously plural rod materials to automatic fillet welding, by a profiling wheel placed on a rod-like member tacked at a prescribed interval in the peripheral direction of a rotating steel pipe. CONSTITUTION:On the surface of a steel pipe 1 placed on a turning roller, a rod material 2 is tacked to the periphery at a prescribed interval. A fillet welding device is in a position inclined a little toward the rotational direction of the steel pipe 1, places a profiling wheel 3 on plural rod materials 2, and attached so as to be freely turnable in the peripheral direction, by a supporting arm fixed to the floor surface. A bolt 8a is clamped by determining the angle of a holder, so that a welding torch 8 is placed in the most suitable position for the fillet welding of the rod material, and thereafter, the welding torch 8 is attached to the holder, knobs 10 and 9 are turned so that the tip of the welding torch 8 is placed in the most suitable position, and the power source of a welding machine is applied.
