Warehouse equipment with long storage frames

Each frame is supported by a base via a number of wheel groups (11) arranged successively along the length of the frame. Each wheel group comprises at least one endless belt (28) extending around break wheels (29/30) between which are support wheels (34) which engage at least with the under part of the belt. At least some of the wheel groups are driven by their corresp. break and support wheels. The driving wheels (30) are so symmetrically located in the wheel groups (11) that the frame receives the same drive in both of its directions of movement. Each driven wheel group incorporates normally two successively arranged equal-sized belts (28) each with driving wheels (30) driven by a common motor (15). The drive wheels pref. comprises break wheels at adjacent ends of the belts (28). Wheels (29,.30,34) for formation of bogies are located in pairs at each end of a cradle fitted on a shaft lcoated centrally betweenthem.
