PURPOSE:To send a picture at a high speed by sending picture information through a 1st path between a network interface unit and plural medical equipments and a control signal of the picture information through a 2nd path and storing the picture information in each medical equipment. CONSTITUTION:Plural network interface units NIUs 17-19 are connected in a star form to an optical star coupler 10. One or plural medical equipments IE 11-16 are connected to the NIUs 17-19 by using the 1st path 40 for picture and the 2nd path 41 for control. A picture memory is built in the medical equipments IEs 11-16 and the same number of memories as that of a relevant IE is provided to the NIUs 17-19. Thus, the waiting of picture information between the medical equipments IE and the units NIUs is avoided to attain high speed transmission.
