PURPOSE:To obtain the titled medium having high sensitivity and preservative stability and excellent light fastness and capable of giving a clear and high gradient image and having less environmental dependence at the time of transferring by incorporating a coloring agent and a specific sensitizing agent which sensitizes by light energy and heat or energy capable of converting to the heat to a transfer recording layer. CONSTITUTION:The transfer layer of the titled medium contains the sensitive component which sensitizes by the light energy and the heat or the energy capable of converting to the heat. The sensitive component is composed of at least 3 kinds of a photopolymerization initiator, a monomer having an unsatd. double bond or its oligomer and a binding component. The molecular weight of said monomer or oligomer is a range of 350-3,000. The binding component is composed of a thermoplastic high polymer which has the weight average molecular weight of >=5X10<4> and the degree of dispersion of the molecular weight of <=5. The content of the high polymer contd. in the recording layer is 5-90wt.%. The photopolymerization initiator is preferably exemplified by a radial initiator such as an azo compd., an org. sulfur compd., a carbonyl compd., and a halogen compd., etc. |
