PURPOSE:To easily investigate the cause by which an exception is generated, by supplying an exception processing code to an object program, and performing an exception processing by every language by referring to the code when the exception is generated. CONSTITUTION:In an exception processing routine 3, the fact that the object program 1 is generated with a FORTRAN language is judged by the reference of the exception processing code set in the object program 1 where the exception is generated. In such way, the routine 3 performs the analysis of the object program 1,and displays the name of the program 1 and the number of a row where the exception is generated to a user. Also, in the routine 3, the kind of the exception is decided, and when the exception is not a fatal exception, the execution of the object program is continued, and when it is a fatal one, the execution of the program is terminated. In such way, it is possible to easily investigate the cause of the generation of the exception.
