PURPOSE:To cope with diversification of a sheet roll by providing a core supporting body for supporting a core which is supported by a space adjusting base, oriented in the width direction of a band like sheet, and linearly movable at a right angle to the width direction of said band like sheet in relation to said space adjusting base. CONSTITUTION:At the time of changing the dividing width and the dividing position of a band like sheet S, core supporting bodies 10, 10 can simply change their core supporting positions by sliding on space adjusting bases 13, 13, and the changing operation can be easily carried out. Also, since the space adjusting bases 13, 13 and a tough roller 2 can be formed in a vibration resistant structure through a simple mechanism, the device in the caption can cope with the increasing tendency in the sheet width direction and that in the length (larger diameter) of the sheet roll S.
